Get the business cards online and network with REAL people. Join organizations and volunteer to keep your name and market yourself as an expert in your field.

The idea of starting a side business is great. I totally agree with it. Extra income, doing something you like to do, and you're using two things that most students/grads already have. Laptop and Internet connection.If you have the skills, determination and the idea then go for it. I plan to do the same thing one day.
